After an amazing performance back in January 2017, we are pleased to announce the excellent AMBER ARCADES will be returning to Bedford Esquires on Friday the 8th June 2018.
Responsible for one of the best debut albums of recent years ‘Fading Lines’, and signed to our favourite independent label, Heavenly Recordings, Amber Arcades is the moniker of dutch born musician Annelotte de Graaf.
Much loved by BBC 6Music, Amber Arcades music is a shimmering mix of indie pop, krautrock and shoegaze. They’ve been compared to such luminaries as Beach House, Stereolab and The Cocteau Twins.

In June 2017, Amber Arcades released the Cannonball EP, featuring the brilliant ‘It Changes’ (which was actually debuted at Esquires, fact fans) and a re-working of the classic Nick Drake song ‘Which Will’
Amber Arcades are returning to the UK in 2018 to play a handful of high profile festivals dates including Green Man, Bluedot, Festival No.6 and Indietracks. We are extremely excited to welcome them back to Esquires.
