Beardmore
Beardmore is made up of 4 friends who have for the last 15 years shared stages together but in different acts playing completely different styles from garage rock, blues, punk and metal.Over the year Beardmore wrote songs that they felt reflected their ideas and attested to the different tastes that the band has. Early shows at venues such as the Underworld in Camden, London, with Zodiac (Germany) earned positive reviews from Metal Hammer UK comparing the sound of Beardmore to ‘Clutch with a touch of the stooges’. In late 2014 after a year of playing a handful of shows in London Beardmore entered the studio to record their first album titled ‘Limb’, named after the rehearsal space where all the tracks had been written. It consists of nine tracks, starting from the first track ‘Cut the bone’ that has a distinctive southern rock sound to the last track ‘ Amber blues’ that has a very heavy blues/metal style.
Beardmore have gigs booked all over the UK in 2015 and are planning a European tour. They are also in the process of writing for their next release.
The Howling
The Howling are a three piece blues-fusion band from Bedfordshire. Originally formed as an acoustic act, The Toby Jugs, The Howling have become regular performers in Bedford pubs and clubs in the past year. Their “al dente” style of blues and rock, diluted with a psychedelic twist, is certain to get your feet stomping!
