TK Maxx presents Bedford Summer Sessions

Live Nation & Cuffe & Taylor in association with The Pad Presents have announced that Britpop icons SUPERGRASS will headline the Big Top at TK Maxx presents Bedford Summer Sessions, bringing their signature classics to Bedford Park on the 12^th July 2025.

Celebrating the 30th anniversary of their iconic debut album, I SHOULD COCO, Supergrass will perform the album in full along with other fan favourites and greatest hits.

Released in 1995, I Should Coco became an instant classic, earning the band a #1 spot on the UK charts and cementing their place in British rock history. With its infectious hit “Alright,” the Mercury-nominated album captured the energy and optimism of a generation, achieving platinum status and becoming one of the definitive records of the nineties. Known for their blend of humour, energy, and eclectic influences—spanning rock, mod, glam, and punk.

SUPERGRASS created a distinctly British sound. Over their career, they would go on to produce six Top 10 albums and ten Top 20 singles, with hits like “Caught by the Fuzz,” “Mansize Rooster,” “Lenny,”  “Going Out”, “Richard |||’’, “Sun Hits The Sky”, “Late In The Day”, “Pumping on Your Stereo” “Moving’’ , “Grace” and more, which captured the spirit of the ’90s and earned SUPERGRASS an enduring place in British rock.

Supporting SUPERGRASS at TK Maxx presents Bedford Summer Sessions are special guests THE CORAL, bringing their signature mix of ’60s garage rock, psychedelic pop, and folk-rock from Merseyside to Bedford for the very first time. Their 2002 self-titled debut topped the UK charts and earned them a Mercury Prize nomination, propelling them into the spotlight. The band boast an impressive 7 top 10 albums and 12 Top 40 singles including “Dreaming Of You”, “Pass It On”, “Don’t Think You’re The First”, “Jacqueline” & “In The Morning”.

Also joining the lineup is Oxford singer / songwriter WILLIE J HEALY, a favourite of some of the biggest names in music, including Alex Turner, Joe Talbot of IDLES, Jamie T, Florence Welch, and Orlando Weeks. Known for the Neil Young-meets-The Beatles-meets-Elvis Costello charm of his 2020 album ‘Twin Heavy’.  His 2023 album ‘Bunny’ spawned the 3 classic singles “Sure Feels Good”, “Woke Up Smiling” & the mesmerising “Thank You” with JAMIE T. Healey will be sure to capture hearts of the crowd at Bedford Summer Sessions.
