THE BLUES MEASURES are a four piece, female fronted band with very experienced & well gigged musicians that play with passion, drive & energy. We cover classic tunes & the occasional slow Blues, but the heart and soul of our set list is upbeat Jump Blues, Blues Shuffle and Rockabilly………… bouncy, lively & fun songs played with passion and drive and designed to make you move. We take pride in the professional approach we bring to our preparation & our performance.
A typical set includes songs from Wanda Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Imelda May, Ruth Brown, Etta James, Eva Cassidy, Koko Taylor, The Stray Cats, Joe Bonamassa & many more…..
