Throwing Muses + Guests

We are delighted to announce that Throwing Muses, one of *the* great cult American bands, will be appearing at Esquires on Wednesday the 27th August as part of their first UK Tour in over ten years!

Led by the singularly and uniquely talented Kristin Hersh, and much loved by Robert Smith (The Cure), Michael Stipe (REM) and Kurt Cobain (Nirvana), Throwing Muses will be performing in support of their new album ‘Moonlight Concessions’ although you can also expect to hear songs from such classic albums of college radio as ’The Real Romana’, ‘Hunkpapa’ and ‘University’.

With many of their 2025 UK dates already sold out, we are both extremely honoured and ecstatic to welcome the band to Esquires for an intimate full band show just prior to their appearance at the End of the Road Festival.

Tickets are £26.50 in advance, available NOW from Seetickets, Slide Record Shop & Esquires Bar. In association with Arts Council England a very limited number of tickets will be available from Seetickets for just £5 to those on a low income or struggling with increases in the cost of living.
