Tom Hingley plays Inspiral Carpets + Carbon Daydreams

Tom Hingley is the former lead singer of Manchester band Inspiral Carpets. He sang on all the bands major label albums and hit singles (This is How it Feels, Saturn Five , Dragging Me Down, She Comes in the Fall and I Want You to name a few. What a catalogue!

Tom performs solo or with 2 of his bands MacKayHingley (with a school friend who he was in the pre-inspirals band Too Much Texas back in the 1980’s) and the Karpets – his Inspirals tribute band.

Tom is releasing a new solo album The Grand Mal in autumn 2023 it reflects the lockdown year.
